Happy New Year—we hope that everyone is staying warm! Please join us for our upcoming membership meeting on Thursday, February 6th in the Mayer Room at the Howe Library located at 13 South St. Hanover, NH 03755. Our guest speaker will be Adair Mulligan. Adair is the Executive Director of the Hanover Conservancy, and previously Conservation Director for the Connecticut River Joint Commissions. She has worked in the conservation field for 45 years, the last 39 in NH. She’ll share what led her to a career in conservation (which has its roots at Diamond Pond in NH’s North Country, the Adirondacks, and the Moosehead Lake region) and turn to what the Hanover Conservancy's working on to protect land and waters in the community. The title of her presentation is “Leave Your Campsite Better Than You Found It.” Something I hope we all live by! We will have pizza and mingling starting at 6:00 p.m. Adair will start around 6:30 p.m. We will end the evening with our usual raffle. Hope to see you there!
