The focus for the project on Mink brook was to help improve water quality as well as fish and wildlife habitat. The project was headed up by Ron Rhodes, GUVTU board member and river steward for CRWC. A total of 331 trees of 8 different species were planted along the 1500ft of brook frontage. GUVTU donated $500.00,  Ledyard National Bank also gave $1,000 to help purchase the trees which came from Intervale Nursery in Burlington,VT. Volunteers from both TU and Ledyard bank helped plant the trees.
